Security works better together
SunSecCon is a volunteer-driven, non-profit initiative dedicated to bridging the gaps between security specialties and fostering collaboration across domains. Designed for practitioners by practitioners, the summit brings together experts in application security, infrastructure security, cloud security, and corporate security to break down silos and promote a unified approach to defensive and offensive security.
On April 1–2, 2027, at the Pasadena Convention Center alongside SCaLE, practitioners will learn how security work connects across specialties.
Technical deep dives bring real-world case studies, incident post-mortems, and live demos into the room, including securing agentic AI systems in production. Hands-on workshops bring cloud defenders, AppSec engineers, and incident responders together to work the same scenarios. Open discussions make space for the challenges, successes, and failures behind the work.
Our focus spans cloud and multi-cloud security, securing AI and agentic workloads, agentic identities, vulnerability management and supply chain security, detection and response, and the platforms and culture that make secure software the default. Whether you’re an engineer, architect, or security leader, join a candid, vendor-neutral community to gain practical insights and help shape security in Southern California.
